1. Responsible for the technical development of new products.
2. Support sourcing activities related to JLE product categories.
3. Assist Manager in negotiating all necessary commercial/technical/quality issues in relation to needed products and sources. Is willing to hold suppliers accountable to the values and processes set forth by the Jarden NPD Team philosophy
4. Coordinate supplier visits and assessments for new suppliers as well as existing suppliers for new product launch.
5. Coordinate with Design team/PM team in US and China office to create 2D/3D dwg, exploded bill of materials and specification.
6. Assist project manager and supply chain team in China office on order tracking and shipment status.
7. Implementation of JLE supplier development strategies.
8. Effectively communicate with business units, conduct weekly conference call and provide regular status reports.
9. Assist to create, refine and maintain supplier information database
10. Participates in quarterly business reviews with key suppliers
11. Recognition of social compliance regulations, CT-PAT requirements, and QMS processes. Reports findings to supervisor.
12. Coordinate with US and China Quality team to develop all required quality documentation.
